Position Description Summary:

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking full-time, Academic Hospitalists for its Division of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine. Non-tenure track appointments will be made at a rank (Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Full Professor) commensurate with experience.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include teaching house staff and students and directing the care of patients admitted to the general internal medicine service at the George Washington University Hospital.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be Board certified/eligible in General Internal Medicine, and licensed in the District of Columbia, at the time of appointment. Applicants must have a minimum of one-year experience teaching residents and students and must have a record of providing excellent clinical care, research productivity, and excellent clinical teaching as demonstrated by experience, publications, evaluations and/or references.

Advertised Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
