Position Description Summary:

The Department of Finance of The George Washington University School of Business invites applications for an open-rank teaching position to begin as early as Fall, 2017.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate is expected to teach experiential investment courses offered by the Department of Finance. In addition, a significant responsibility will be to lead the School’s Program on Applied Research and Investment by engaging in outreach and fundraising to expand the experiential investment courses offered by the department. The position will also require oversight of one full-time staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have a Master’s degree or higher in finance or a related field. Applicants must demonstrate teaching excellence as evidenced by letters of reference and teaching evaluations. Additionally, applicants should have experience in managing and endowment or teaching an investment course that manages a real portfolio. Finally, applicants must have experience engaging in outreach and fund raising.

Advertised Salary: Comensurate with experience.
