Position Description Summary:

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking a full-time academic Infectious Disease physician for its Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine. This is a non-tenure track appointment and will be made at a rank (Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) commensurate with experience.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Candidates are sought to contribute to the expansion of the Division’s clinical and translational research studies of HIV. Opportunities are available to collaborate with basic science and clinical investigators in an effort that is supported by a NIH-sponsored Center for AIDS Research and a Martin Delaney Co-Laboratory for the Cure of AIDS grant. Additional responsibilities include rounding on the inpatient Infectious Disease consult service, providing outpatient infectious disease consultations and teaching students, Residents and Fellows.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be Board certified/eligible in Infectious Disease Medicine, and be licensed in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment.

Advertised Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
