Position Description Summary:

The Department of Surgery, Division of Thoracic Surgery, at the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University, is seeking a full-time faculty member at the assistant professor level.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be board eligible or board certified in thoracic surgery at the time of appointment, must have demonstrated excellence in teaching as evidenced by teaching evaluations, in research as evidenced by scholarly publications or works in progress, and excellence in clinical care as evidenced by experience, fellowships, references, etc. Applicants must also be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
